Cured deck. Mold release had been applied to the hull (and to the mold deck) so that a nice lap-joint would be formed between the two halves.
The deck edge was trimmed the same way that the hull was. Here, a scrap of plywood was used as the sapcer. Foam strips were placed onder the coaming groove to make trimming in that area easier.
Two views of the underside of the deck. On the left, it has just been pulled off the mold, after trimming. On the right, hatch lips, deck reinforcements, and coaming have been bonded in place, and it is ready to join to the hull.
